Removable steering wheels

Anyone fitted a removable steering wheel to 1969 bay? If so, where did you get you steering wheel from?

the quick release hub takes any after market wheel , just check bolt pattern

That was my thought also, then I thought, not too many get stolen by joy riders, and most are winched onto recovery vehicles and that’s exactly where most peeps expect to see them. If any one ever steals one of these and thinks they can drive to glory in a chase, they might be a tad surprised.

Yeah I've been pondering similar setups, any links? I can find plenty of removable boss' but what goes from steering column to boss? Would it make the steering wheel silly high?

Well I'm a machinist by trade, would people be interested in such things? Has anyone got a picture of the top of the steering column minus the steering wheel?
