Renovation project parts we need for GOOSE

Hi if anyone out there can help, goose is in for a complete resto job, we will be needing new door panels, chrome or chrome and black empi 5 wide wheels, a new pop top, new window rubbers. and a whole lot more.
any bargains out there or any good websites to check out.

For window rubbers try either custom and commercial(http://www.customandcommercial.com) or status vw (http://www.status-vw.co.uk) not the cheapest in the short term but you will buy only once - personally I would avoid cheap rubber seals - they rarely fit well and perish quickly or leak.

Not sure what pop top you are after - looks like the one you have is a Dormobile top from a Land Rover? - If you want to fit a VW Dormobile top they often come up on ebay and go for around £100 to £150 for a reasonable one - or maybe try Volksheaven (http://www.volksheaven.co.uk) - pretty sure Wayne had one at the back of his yardwhen I was up ther in November - may need bellows replacing / patching though.

put a list up it worked for me,beetween us im sure we could build a club bus out of spare parts :lol:

would be complete apart from having no sliding door,no early inticator arm and no early over riders :wink: :lol:

hi are you still after a dormobile poptop

if so i have one im selling

had an accident the other day and cracked this vent (the little one on the left) so this will need replacing

the hinge location shown here has been damaged in the past and could do with a repair

but a previous owner has made up a repair plate that seems to work well

comes with all trim, bunks, hinges, canvas frame, canvas fixing bars and lifting arms

will need new canvas as the canvas was perished
