Hi

Does anyone know where I can get a replacement horizontal roller (on a vertical pin) for a 72 crossover bay?

Its the same as part number 32 on http://www.vwheritage.com/vwh/Bus-Parts-1968-79/Body/Sliding-Door/?templateID=vwh" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; but VWH don't have the part for a 72.

Thanks
Simon

Have you tried Just Kampers? i think that they stock them. 8)

just wondered what the difference is between the years. vwheritage site says its a '76-'79 part. i thought the sliding door sills were the same throughout the years, which surely means the roller that rolls within it must also be the same size?

Not to sure, but they did mess around as the sliding door u shape that holds the door to the rollers etc is different in design  why it couldnt be left the same i dont know

I've tried the VW Heritage roller as a few people have said that they should fit pre 76 bays but it doesn't fit my 72.

Just Kampers only do the vertical roller for the bottom bracket and not the horizontal.
Been looking for used ones but they seem difficult to find
