Replacement seat springs - 70 LHD bay

Hi All,

First time on the forum......

I am in the process of restoring the cab seats in my '70 bay LHD. I have a few broken springs which I need to replace. Does someone have spares I can buy or know where I can get them from?

Hi , I asked the same question a good few weeks back , unfortunately non were forthcoming , I have however just purchased some off E Bay ! Try searching upholstery springs I paid £8.50 for five . Paul

I've just done my driver's seat. I replaced two of the coiled springs with upholstery springs 9 gauge, 4 inches in height. There's also some wavy springs that sometimes break but mine were ok.

The 9 gauge will work although it's quite a bit thicker than the factory fitted springs, but you can get thinner gauges from suppliers as well.
