replacing rubber sliding door seal to bus and wanted to know if i have to remove the door first to remove old seal and put new one in..
i have removed three quarters of it but can`t get anywhere near the last piece as the bloody doors in the way!!!
am i being thick and missing something blatantly obvious ??

Well to get the new seal on at the very least you need to unhook the door on the rear runner to get the seal on in one piece but its a hell of a lot easier to just get the door off.
Getting the door off is a 2 second job anyway when you know the proper technique.
 
Take off the middle roller track cover, and roll the door back you will see the guide has a break in it, lift off the middle runner and making sure you are holding on tight, roll the door back towards the closed position.
When the door ' tucks in ' you can pull the bottom runner out which in turn drops the top runner out of its guide.
Then all you have to do is put the door down safely!!
 
Or the lazy way....................cut it in the corner then glue back together when fitted :lol:
