I've done a lot of work on my van (mechanical, interior, exterior) since getting it and it's about to come out of the paint shop.

I need to get a revaluation done for both insurance and selling purposes. How can I get this done ? I was thinking about an agreed valuation with the insurance company but would rather get an independant view before doing this.

Any suggestions?

I would just ring up your insurance company and tell them what you want it insured for and ask them to confirm the agreed amount in your schedule. It was surprisingly easy and straight forward tbh and you will more than likely end up being over insured by 5k or so.

I did mine with Admiral after restoration, I had a form to fill in and 8 pics to provide (even though I wanted them to see more) Anyway, it cost me £10 and they valued it at £35k [emoji106]

Hi Matty, didn't your insurance cost increase ?

Nope, and I've just renewed it last week, on a Multicar Policy with my Brera ... £178
for the van now that it's garaged at my rental house and £434 for the car. So I'm more than happy with that [emoji106]
