No, I'm not excited by panels! I just got my first early bay and was working on the rear hatch when I noticed the tall inner corner panels on the rear are riveted in place. Is this standard, or has someone done a lazy repair?

Do you mean the panel next to the sink unit in this photo ? If yes then my ones are riveted and came from the factory like it.

Yes! Perfect, thank you. I've tried all sorts of random google searches trying to find a pic showing the area.

Yours is exactly like mine. At first I thought it can't be stock, but when I checked the other side and found it identical I started to wonder! Must've been a fun job in Hannover.

Ah - sorry, I didn't realise you meant trim panels, I thought you meant the steel panel that closes off the back of the air vent :lol:
 
Yeah, difficult to explain - I guess a pic would have worked better!

It's the tall metal panel on the inside there, I can see the rivets dotted up the side just like on mine.

It's a special one off custom for for washing my bottom in ha ha.
