To clarify, it is Martyn Ashton who damaged his spine in September this year.
This happened just before he was finished shooting his part in this video.

As far as I am aware it is too early to say that he is paralysed. After the accident he was unable to move below the point of injury but he is undergoing a lengthy rest and treatment program and there's always hope.
