'Scarborough Breeze'

I have heard from a few sources of a Breeze type get together in Scarborough towards the end of September. Does anyone know anymore bout this?

it started life as a discussion on vzi, with a few people saying it sounded like a plan

now its a definate - final details will follow, but the plan is to meet on the front in scarborough on the sunday, then go for a cruise either to cayton bay, or up into the dolby forest for a barbeque.

there's cheap camping (£5.60 per pitch) to be had on the saturday night at the blue dolphin park near filey - a few of us from halifax plus a number of others will be there - all details can be found on this thread on vzi

Went to Scarborough Breeze this weekend, and was a good get together. Haven't been to many as new to the scene but managed to go along with Leeds Volkswagen Collective. An unofficial event as highlighted by Slim_Adi, but theres hopes to make it onto the calendar for next year!

Was a good mix of all types (but only a handful of EB's), and there was decent weather too!!

Yeah it's Whitby, just adding my bus to any old thread lol.
Yeah we had a great laugh, too many beers and a bit messy though.

Its a nice bus, why not!!

I'm thinking of heading down to the midlands for the EB Christmas meet on 13th Dec, do you fancy it if your free? Might be a bit of a trek for a one-dayer but if the weather is right could be good to stretch the legs!! Its about 100miles from Leeds and about 2 hours straight down the M1...
