got a prog scat carb like a webber 32/36,chucked it on runs like crap !! did notice that the throttle screw and choke screw were screwed right in (its brand new) anyone know where the mixture screw is ? or just how to set it up failing that anyone want to buy a fancy door stop

They never really run right.

The mixture screw on the weber is at the back against the fan housing. It will have a spring loaded screw. It's awkward to get at. Also try leaving the vacuum take off open to air, it seems to make them run a bit better (if you have a 009 that is).

Thats a start but you need to just turn it till it sounds right. In to weaken, out to ritchen...

Make sure your valve clearances, points cap & timing are set right first. The carb is always the last bit to bet set.
