Seat stand mat Installation

Hi all,
Bit of info needed, I am removing my Mad Matz and going back to standard, I have fitted the main seat tub mat and have decided to fit some mats on the sides.
I have the Wolfsburg West mats so decent quality but I'm a little unsure of what to do with the top edge of the side mats.
In the pic you will see they have a lip similar to the edge near the door on the main seat mat.
My bus doesn't have channel for this to go in, I know westys didn't have the mats as standard but can't imagine they didn't fit parts because of it.
Any advice much appreciated.

Mine is not a deluxe, it has a channel for that lip to tuck into, I would stick it on with contact adhesive and trim off any extra lips

Cheers guys, I think Darius has found the channel part I require, BBT sell a repro at £35 from vw heritage so will save up my pennies and get some.
What with a new loom this winter is getting a bit expensive
