I've met Colin from Outermotive a few times and I know he is doing work on Cotswoldivers bus at the moment, he's well into bays and runs a camper hire business as well.

He's done the hard bit of stripping it down and showing you what it needs but there is a lot of work there, looks like a job for Scott Wilson seeing his latest gallery posts

I know Colin has recently set up the ebay part of his business and has been clearing a few bits and pieces as they get ready to reorganise their workshops over the winter months. He sold a lovely old style awning the other week and I think a late bay that needed a fair bit of work all via ebay.

IMO you couldn't get a more honest guy who quietly gets on with his work, as always you take your chance with it being ebay but I'm certain he would be very accurate with his descriptions. There are other forum members that use him as well and I found out about him from a referral of a referral :D

It is what it is, and looks very honest........but not for the faint hearted.

I would think this would cost more to get right and on the road than buying a good one already on the road.

I think you are right, an awful lot of work there,

Might be ok if you have a recently damaged van that you can swap bits over but for a straight re-build it could be very costly

Thats a daunting lot of work

I need to sell this....

What do you think would be a fair buy it now price? :)

Might be better offering cuts than selling it as a whole.
The doors (if good) would command some money on there own

lol yes I modified it and put the engine in the front :D

I would cut it up but I'm scared of the grinder  and basically it needs to go cos its taking up space. The doors are shot really but anythings repairable and better than the repro ***** thats out there.

Can anyone suggest a fair price? it still has all the wide 5 running gear, gear box, beam is solid and the steering box is still there :)

If you need it shifting then just put it on ebay with no reserve and get what you can for it, probably not the answer your after but its hard to put a price on a uncomplete project

I`ve see them converted to singlecabs...

Lyn shove it up for 750 buy it now ,or best offer... 8)

Are the rear corners OK?
If so, how much do you want for them?

Yes as far as I can see without scrapping the paint off but as I said I am scared of the grinder

Mick I think £750 is being a bit greedy although I am told the running gear is worth nearlt that, maybe someone could make it into a convertible crew?

I helped push that van into the workshop!

Colin at Outermotive does all my work on my current bus, previous buses and beetle.

Good guy and won't rip you off! Not like some other people I could mention.

Colin and gang are Always willing to help and give advice. I think he looks like Merlin off the BBC (new series)!
