serial number for info

our crossover Bay is numbered 2322025066 all I know is that it was first UK registered in nov 71 ,
can anyone give me a bit more history relating to the number, regards Kev

i cant figure it out either but its definitely 2322025066 , it doesnt look like its been off either
Have I given the wrong number, This is on the plate behind the drivers seat

In order of Chassis Number:

23 = Kombi (headlining only in cab, windows all round, etc)

2 = 1972 model year (chassis numbers 2x22 000 001 to 2x22 300 000, 23.08.71 to 31.07.72 - the "x" denotes: 1 = panelvan, 2 = microbus, 3 = kombi (as yours is), 4 = microbus deluxe, 6 = sgl cab, 6(-16) = dbl cab, 6(-201) = wide load bed pick up, 7 = ambulance, 8 = microbus 7 seater)

2025066 = chassis no (including the "2" from model year)
