Show me your CB aerial installs please

I am thinking of mounting the antenna on the front bumper if I can find one long enough to clip into the gutter.

Please show me where you have put yours.

I wouldn't suggest the front bumper as mounting point. You will barely get any reception as the body of the bus will severely impair its reception distance. The Ariel requires no obstructions, especially of the metal kind. Gutter mount or mount on a roof rack is the only useable option.

Damn! Was thinking that would be ideal as entry into the cab would be easy.

There is an old hole in the roof in the Westy Roof Rack area but, seeing as I have installed a new headlining I wanted to give that a miss!

More thinking needed!

Foz is right, a mag mount as close to the centre of the roof is the best position, and away from any stereo radio aerials.
