thinking ahead to a winter respray

Anyone out there got a sierra yellow bus? Which is the colour ours was originally. If so can you let us have some pics

Currently Pickles the 72 crossover sports a very bright yellow paint job done in California about 6 years ago, its a colour that certainly gets us noticed :D and whilst we had originally planned to go back to the original paint scheme we're now not sure. :?:

Looking forward to seeing what you've got.

Got an email address mate I can send you some of mine. As a heads up Marino yellow is neigh on true same and is much more common. Do a search for 'Vw camper Marino yellow' in google/google images and you should see a few. I like it it's a mustard yellow.

Sierra yellow is my fav paint colour from vw. 8)

please don`t be fooled by pics of sierra yellow. It looks a whole world different in the flesh and photos really don`t do the colour justice..... :!:

Blake7 thanks for sending the pics through.

Overall an interesting colour some looking more orange than others, liking the semi-gold one.

Really changes in the light and you can't get a camera to get it at all. My last car was a 63 beetle in beryl green. Same thing yellow one second green the next!

have a look at the thread below of my sierra yellow/white danbury when I bought it 3 years ago
it's also the one in the earlybay.com forum 'banner' above
have to say that I've learnt to love it the way it is as it's mainly original, apart from the wheels!
here's a couple of pics from last summer in the west country
