slammedrestos bus on ebay? maybe a scam?

just seen a pic of thw bus on ebay, and asking
£4300. gotta be a scam?

What are they really after.

The deposit after the auction ends or do they expect people to pay the full amount without even meeting up in person.

If the later is the case you have to be really dumb.

His bus has been used in at least two scams this week. Such a shame as it detracts form the genuine ad he's got.

my last split was 'sold' on ebay as a scam....

the first I knew about it was when 2 police officers turned up on my doorstep at 6.30m am :shock: one morning, asking if I owned a camper van.....

some ar****e had knicked the photos from the original ebay ad a year previously (when I had bought it), and 're-advertised' it.

the problem was some poor soul had parted with over £5k in cash to the 'seller' who had then dissapeared off the face of the earth....when the police told the 'buyer' that the van was worth over £17k they went a bit pale apparently.....

The police did realise I had nothing to do with it once I showed them all my documentation, but I then had to get the registration plate changed to stop it happening again, it was a total nightmare....

buyer beware, and if you sell a car, cover the registration plate.... :wink:
