slide door lock

Can anyone tell me if the lock mech on a slide door is repairable? The little toggle lock on the inside is floppy, I guess the spring has gone, seems a shame to bin it as the rest of it works great, cheers marco

It is repairable but depending if any part has broken you may need a donor lock for parts. They can be quite tricky to disassemble too.

Might be easier to have a replacement lock rekeyed.

The lock barrel is fine, it's the cream(white) toggle thing on the inside that's floppy, if you hold it up at 3 o'clock then it works and you can 'lock' the rear mech, but it keeps falling to 4 o'clock.

Ah, my mistake, I thought you meant the flap that covers the key opening.
