sliding door probem

Hi ,
IM having a problem with my sliding door with the hinge hitting the door when opening , does any one here have any help advice on what could be wrong .

Hi Mike my bus had a similar problem when I got it.
I noticed that the part of the hinge in the sliding door had broken allowing the U bracket to move around where it passes through it's 2 brass bushes.
The cam on the part that attaches to the roller had also broken.
Both of these allowed the door to slide to far.

Hi Mike,
The first part that was broken on my bus I no longer have but it was the part the slides into the sliding door and the U bracket attaches.

The cam that was broken is below

You don't have to take the door off but you will need a jack or similar to hold it up as when you remove the sliding door U Hinge it will drop to the floor.
You will also need to remove the sliding door track cover.
