hello all

in my quest to get the bus ready for the shows next year to celebrate 10 years of ownership i need to sort a few things out. So far I have done the following over the past few years:

body resto and respray in ferrari rosso and pastel white
pop top rebuild courtesy of individual interiors
full brake overhaul - it now stops
replacement colour detailed Vege 1800 engine with pair of Dellorto 36 DRLA carbs
replacement gearbox with gene berg shifter
full original Devon Moonraker interior rubbed and stained
headlining replacement at bromsgrove coachtrimmers (next month)

after all that we are on details (and a few rust spots)

the big question is... will i be able to pick up stuff at slough for reasonable money? I am after the following:

chrome interior door trim (pullers, door surrounds)
deluxe clock (not the end of the world as they are a bit pricy)
red interior panel behind the drivers seat (the monkey before me cut it)

what do you reckon - is the trip from cardiff worth it?

cheers

Ive a swapmeet table booked for this weekend, its a nice event.
Take one sports centre hall and ram it with a million people all perusing expensive (possibly) parts, and there you have it.
Always a car park full of interest and plenty of stuff to buy, sell and oggle.

Lots of people slag it off, I assume as there is no disco, fun fair or fancy dress, but I always enjoy it. :)

I might fancy the dash mate how much ?

I'll take a picture of it and post it tomorrow,it is painted in an original white colour and came with a front end clip I bought.A hole has been cut to fit a modern stereo,it looks a bit cave. It's ideal if you want to customise it,paint it up to match then swap it straight over with your original one straight away before you forget where the wires go!
