Small pull lever under drivers chair

Hey there,

we have a pull lever in the frame part below the drivers seat. It's a wire that appears to go into the heater pipe under the bus.

Does anyone have any clue what it is for?

There's a flap inside the pipe, the lever opens and closes it to direct heat from the exchangers

I am sure someone will be along to explain it better in a while.

I believe it opens the warm air outlet into the main van area that is situated below the walkthrough area - make sense?

Thats the one! it is the most asked question, usually asked about 3 weeks after buying one 8) We have all asked about it in our time

For months I guessed my dash wiring was screwed as one day i'd have dash light and the next nothin. Even went around europe for 2 month 6,000 miles and only found out about it when I got back! :lol:

i may have downloaded and printed an instruction manual from the samba to answere these type of questions.
unless that is illegal, and then i never, honest officer :roll:

Dashlight dimmer switch? I just assumed the dash had no light, come on then, divulge???????

yeo i asked the same questions before i got hold of a manual and read it all. it also enlightened me on what the car valve was for on the washer bottle, along with with how dip beam/flash works

:lol: I was convinced my dip beam didnt work, until it was pointed out it only works on main beam, still cant work out why :?
