Show us your Vanfest purchase's then. Ive got a little project to work on over the winter. Is that a new purchase i saw on the back of a certain members bus in another thread.

I got a new wood-rim steering wheel from Laurence Peters. These are the same diameter as the original and look great. See VW Camper and Commercial (issue 37 – Sept/Oct 2008) - that orange and cream late-bay/panel with orange VW logos all over it.

Also had a good chat with the guys at Red 9 and am placing an order this week for one of their beams, 2"-4" EZ Rider kit and lowered spring plates.

Just need the van back now...

i bought a full delux belt trim with 50 clips, front grill inc delux trim, and us spec rear lenses with chrome trims all for £150 which i thought wasnt too bed (though only the grill was actually on my list of bits to buy). scat shifter for £50. cali engine lid (the only one i found in the whole of vf that didnt rattle like a maracker) for £50 though it does have a 20mm hole in it from a tow hook up but should weld up nice. and a lower sliding door repair skin. now i just have to get round to fitting it all.

i have a 2"-4" red9 kit forsale cheaply, i bought it with about 1000 miles done on it but it looks solid, its too much hassle to fit it with the weedeater.

I got a new idler pin kit and a caliper re-build kit. o and some curtain hooks and gliders. It`ll probably take me two years to fit that little lot

i got me some bucket seats, some door cards 2 that go on bulk head & one on the rear hatch,
a bluebird devon style buddy seat & a hoody :D baj

VeeDubMan those wheels are great, ive got one myself.

andewilson, you got a right deal on all that deluxe stuff, the vent trim usually goes for about £40 alone.

I got a westy trailer ive been looking for for a while now

Got it for a nice price in the end.

Also got these

Come on you EB pervs what are they......................

Some heater control levers (been looking a long time) and a Westy interia light with working switches as mine were broken and loose.

Also had to get a couple of Westy trailer suspension units as one of mine had failed on the way, its first outing. Ouch (£100 for the pair) Thanks faux for spotting this for me, could of done more damage on the way home.

errm....a new key cos i lost mine  (thanks again to grazy for bailing me out) and an old german timber ammo box cos it looked cool and was a tenner

Not what I spent its the contacts I made who will be getting my cash for a cabinet to go in the back of my microbus....if he understands my scribbles and what I was trying to get across it will be something pretty special one of a kind....

got rid of 4 extinguishers, finally collected my dash trim, spent 200 notes on nothing much at all, there was other stuff thats slipped my mind....

I got a Danbury sink box (not perfect, and no pump), but it'll do 'til I find a better one.
I also found an original Danbury cushion, un-faded and almost as new. Not really of much use to me, as I have a full compliment of faded cushions, but I felt sorry for it sitting forlornly amongst a load of other dusty (and muddy) clutter on a stall!

Considering it was vanfest i bought nothing for the van!

A NOS super mx tyre to match the other one on my grifter. Seat runner guide plastic bush thingies for the beetle. Current issue of camper & bus. A couple of old magazines with baja's in from '94. A multi sized hole punch tool.

Slightly jealous of a scat shifter for £50!!!

Thanks for the offer Johnny, but having bought second hand before and getting my fingers burnt (e.g. the whole van!) parts that really matter (engine, suspenstion etc.) I only buy from new.

Someone will snap these up from you though.

Cheers
