I'm about to re-install my dashboard but I've not been particularly great at bagging and labelling screws so I need to ask a friendly EB'er to tell me what screws/bolts are used where.
The area's I'm interested in:

The very front/top of the dash just under the windscreen, the parts guide says Oval head panel screw 4,2X13 what does that mean? is the screw diameter 4.2mm? the length 13mm?
The speed nuts say 4,2X17X11,3 so again, any idea what this is?
Also, the dash air vent cover screws (the curved slots to demist) are these the same as the above or smaller screws?

The 4(?) screws that hold the dash to the A posts, are these M6x15 domed cross head?

Where the handbrake and steering column bolt up into the dash, they look like M6 but are they hex head bolts or domed cross head as they are visible.

Lastly, Have I got the steering crash support on the correct side for RHD? The slotted end is at the inner screen, the fixed hole at the column end on the right side of the column.

Hi Mags

You'll find the info here:

http://www.jerseylooker.com/FicheDump/EarlyBaywindow/EarlyBay-8.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

but particularily:

http://www.jerseylooker.com/FicheDump/EarlyBaywindow/8-070.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

http://www.jerseylooker.com/FicheDump/EarlyBaywindow/8-071.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

http://www.jerseylooker.com/FicheDump/EarlyBaywindow/8-072.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Thanks Alex, I'd lost that link, good to have it back again.
However, I had already seen this and it doesn't help me understand what the screws at the front top of the dash and the vent trim are?
But it does confirm the M6 screws for the A post.
Is there a home page for that link? I can't go beyond 9, I'm assuming there is more?

Thanks

Mags

Custom and Commercial sell the dash screws, if that helps..

Thanks, Managed to work it out in the end. Turns out a 4.2 screw is a No 8 screw. So I bought some stainless No 8 screws and spire nuts nuts to match, all sorted now.
