Some one must know?

I would like to know what the parts are called and even better where I could find some please,
I'm after the metal hole pinched sheets that sit above the engine, on the engine bay roof.

Cheers Matt, but they would never fit mine as mine are four piece, two small ones at the side and two medium sized ones in the middle.

I have seen them for sale somewhere on the web, made from fire proof ply (for an early bay) think they were about £60
will have a look to see if i can find them, it was over 12 months ago but i will try
i have a set of the metal ones for a late bay if anyones interested

Thanks for the reply Vinvan, I've got ply board they've seen better days I'm putting up some fire retardant sound proofing then I wanted to add the metal sheets.
So if you can find them I'd appreciate it as I can't find them anywhere.
Or if any one knows where to find them

Think there called tar boards and rackams of Ipswich used to sell them

Brad, what fire retardant sound proofing are you using - I recently bought some "Silent Coat" tiles, but didn't feel comfortable putting them in the engine compartment...

I bought woolies trim, 12mm foil coated acoustic foam, says it's fire retardant FMVSS302 1.5mtx1mt £71.49.
It has a self adhesive backing so I was going to wipe over the metal, cut it to shape stick it up then fit the four hole punched sheets up which don't sound like they ever existed so I'll get some made up, then fit my two auto extinguishers.............................. Never as easy as I imagine
