I stuck some (lots) of sound deadening tape - the stuff that's got a metal backing - around the bus and now I'm trying to remove it before it gets an interior respray.

Will it shift? Will it bugger!

Anybody had any success?

hot air gun and a scraper, then some white spirit should do it.
Its a messy job, good luck!

I wonder if the missus would mind me using her hairdrier....

I'm often borrowing my wife's hairdryer to use in the garage.....though she just thinks that "things aren't built like they used to be" and complains about having to buy new ones after they suddenly stop working.... :D

lol, well i got in trouble as i blew her hairdryer up hence why i have a hot air gun now :D

I have been doing this today and it really is a pain, you dont want the gloop too hot otherwise it melts but you want it just warm enough so that you can peel it off with the silver layer in one if that makes sense. Again too hot and the silver seperates from the bitumen and you then have to scraper/rub/peel it off bit by bit.
