I have been thinking about using some of this stuff on my cab doors........

I think it will protect the doors and make them sound a bit more solid, might do the new, tinny, floor and perhaps the roof?

Is it a silly idea or has anyone done it? would appreciate your advanced knowledge :)

i used dynamat in my old bus, did the cab doors, floor, and under bed, as welll as all the side panels, then topped it off with poly sheets

Cheers slammed, looks good :) I was concerned there wouldn't be enough space for dynamat in the cab doors and it might get in the way of the window mechs, plus theres no glue that might come off..... its all very expensive though

i used a dynamat copy product, called brown bread. search dynamat and brown bread on ebay. got a huge roll pretty cheap, lot cheaper than proper dynamat. others have used roof flashing from b&q with decent results.

cab doors had a nice clunk to them once done
