How much would you want if you were to sell? 8)
I haven`t got a clue,I see what rustfree earlybays go for n this isn`t rustfree but its not bad tho :?

Dude its worth 7k any day that stuff you said is nothing the brake can be done in an hour the welding can be done in less than a day .And the intirior is the nicest ive ever seen with matching carpets doorcards very very nice 8)

If you have to sell, then how about £20. I will then haggle you abit and
when you get down to £5, I will agree (shrug of shoulders of course and
moaning about me being ripped off) and you will hand me the keys, shed
a tear and that is that!!!!!!

Or you could ask for around £6K upwards! 8)

Realistically £3k i'd say. New gearbox and a few places needing welding and rear brake replacement! who said £6k + ?! Very nice bus though, i really like her!

3k in the current market seems a little low to me (assuming there arent other major rust issues) , get the battery tray sorted, checkout the gear change (may just need bushes &/or coupling replacing on the shift rod), fix brakes, a new MOT and sell for good money just in time for the spring!

ouch actually ill tell my other half that she should sell her bug,its worth more :)

I agree the value would be much more and make it much easier to sell if you do the work.Just get it done a bit at a time and sell it in the late spring/early summer for best results. This time of year I'm not sure any one will pay 6K for it like it is? If you stuck it on ebay like that it would probably reach around £4500.

The only way to know would be to stick a price on it advertise it then wait. You never can tell.(Sell the bug)

Shit sorry to hear that fella...

to be honest sort out the brakes and gear change should be fairly simple assuming/cheap sell it with the battery tray requiring work if you must but its an easy cheap repair...

Then make an honest judgement on the rest of the work required 3K does look bloody cheap in todays market.....but without viewing the van to be honest its hard for us to comment....check out the classifieds and make direct comparrisons....

good luck....
