Hope everyone had a good Christmas and New Year.

I'm currently organising a 2 week trip to Belgium in my Bay. Plan is to get the ferry from Hull to Zeebrugge on Friday 19th August, and get the ferry back on the Saturday 3rd September.

Currently all I know is I'm hoping to camp Thursday to Monday at The Elephant Campsite near the circuit.

The rest of the days are free. Think we will most likely use the first day (Saturday 20th) to camp close to Brugge then spend the rest of the day in Brugge.

So if anyone has any tips or places worth visiting (and recommended campsites) that would be great.

Only 1 thing concerns me, are we likely to be bothered by any of the migrants that are currently in Belgium? I would hope that traveling via Zeebrugge would avoid the large camps near Calais but not sure where else they may be.
Anyone been recently that can comment?

Thanks
Ryan

We stayed here http://www.jamboree.be" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for a week after ebi. Nice and clean campsite with a supermarket at the end of the road. Beach and town within walking distance and the hop on tram that covers the whole of the coast for five euros a day. https://www.delijn.be/en/kusttram/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

this is a pretty good campsite if you want to visit Brugge, it's walking distance into the centre and has some good facilities.

I'm going there in the bus next month again so will report back if it's still any good!

I'm taking the Folkestone ---> Calais tunnel route which should be fun.

:D :D :shock: :shock:
