Spare or not?

Just wondering if most of you out there bother keeping the spare tyres in your vans or if you run with a can of tyre weld..? :?

I will soon be running a low van with different front/rear tyre sizes so unless I get a skinny spare I would prefer to travel with a can of tyre weld, as this also would free up some space in the back of my Westy!

What do you all think?

Of course its can be dodgy if you dont have one but i dont. For a start the spare is standard and it wouldnt fit plus ive got different wheel bolts/nuts now any how.
Plus its less weight to carry :wink:

I've never carried a spare on any of my type 2's and never had a puncture, as long as you check pressures and condition they should be OK.
Although there is a really old can of tyreweld in the glovebox.
