Didnt quite get the 17. I reckon with some new non transit van tyres (i was getting a tiny bit of wheel spin changing into 2nd) and a change of jets and about 4 grands worth of liposuction i could do it.

Its low compression doesnt use or need an external oil cooler and is mainly built for towing my beetle to santa pod.

Best time so far 18.7. I reckon with some messing with the jets it might run a 17.something.

Engine does sound like it's built for low end grunt, but with
a bit of fettling I'm sure you will get early 17's
