I need a bit of advice guys about the dreaded splash guards...... got some splash guards described for early bay 68-72,and guess what...!!!
I've never had them fitted so I don't know whether my bumper is slightly out of adjustment or they are a bad repo or they actually don't fit snuggly by design.
Can anyone please measure or are there any dimensions for the correct early Bay pans please, that way I can know whether its the splash pans or the van. Please see the pics below for the ones in question, with curvature etc the measurments may be a mil or two out but more or less accurate.

is there a fitting kit with rubber spacer washers??? Maybe Can someone be kind enough to post a pic of early Bay splash guards fitted please?? (from different angles would be brill!). I have the diagram but would like to see them in situ, to see what angle they sit at, seals in place etc....
Thanks in advance! :D

Cheers Robin, very helpfull - its sexy under there mate - v. nice!.........so they bolt onto the top of the bumper iron, there is seal between the guard and the inside of the bumper.
Is there some sort of rubber bush that goes between the guards and the body and the guard and the side of the bumper?
