Have recently fitted Weber ICT's and they now seem to be set up ok,runs lovely on tick over and when revving when stationery, however I took her up the road and once you put your foot down she doesn't like it,splutters and coughs.I have checked the points gap (0.018) and I've got new plugs and leads on.Could it be the coil or condensor ???

Starting to lose my patience with my van now ......suggestions please.... Mole

Possibly the fuel pump dood? or more likely some air leaks somewhere in the new pipes.....do you have a vac advanced dizzy?

Yep, sounds like fuel starvation. Is the fuel pump up to the job of feeding the twin carbs? Disconnect the fuel line from the carbs and check you've got a decent 'spurt' (ooo-err) :)
