So went to wolfsburgweedhuggers meet in penn street last night in the bus and its driving awesome its not rapid yet but fueling seems fine and its so much more torquey Chesham bois hill I usually climb in 2nd snatch 3rd and sometimes back to 2nd but tonight I climbed it in 4th!!! Well chuffed.

Hello right had a wee problem fitted my deep sump the extra 1.5litre one and as the bus is low managed to crack it in 2hrs!!

So had a re think and moved the turbo up higher in to the engine bay through the spare battery tray this now gives a proper gravity feed for the oil to return to the l/h rocker cover I also fitted an exhaust heat shield around the turbo to protect the 1/4 panel paint. Also re made header turbo link pipe and heat wrapped and made a rear silencer

Also had a oil problem went to a friends wedding in it and it was a 100mile round trip but noticed it starting to ping under load on hills but this started to get worse over the course of the journey when I pulled over it stunk of hot oil!! Then I realised what I had done I put 10/40 in and it thinned out to quickly due to the turbo heat..got home ok by propping the engine lid to let some heat out.

So now im running 20/50 valvoline race oil and I've also modded the tailgate and have done about 80miles of hard driving and no faults..........apart from the clutch starting to slip in 3rd and 4th under hard boost/acceleration
Here is some pics
