spraying metalic paint

any one done this at home ,been offered a good deal on some met celly based paint ,never sprayed met before , can you flat and polish it or do you just leave it as a gun finish or laquer it .

You'd have to laquer over it with 2 k laquer.
Then you can flat n polish that!!!

Is it ok to use 1k lacquer. I can get this on the deal with the paint

Should be ok too, but not as easy to get a lasting shine with 1k laquer !?!?!

the wife and kids want something different ,thought the colour was sorted but seems not, i prefer the standard BRG but they like this ,my worry is i have never sprayed met from a gun before
