So I bought a new ignition housing. Fitting everything back together using my old ignition switch which could be original as it’s metal the van starts but when I let go of the key the starter motor kicks back in. Put on the new switch. I only get dash lights. When I turn the key to start the fuel gauge drops off and all lights go out. Any ideas please

The new one is from JK and has extra wires but I still matched wires by colour.

I’ve put the old switch back on. Now I’m getting dash lights and fuel gauge but now it’s not turning over and not starting. I’m getting 12.53 at battery. 11.34 ish on red, black, black and yellow. I’m getting 0.01 on the black and red
