1978 Westfalia Poptop Automatic with what looks like Original paint all the way around, nothing I can see that would say otherwise. Buff and polish or prep for paint, extremely Straight!!! I believe there will be zero welding except to fill in the 2 spare tire holes on the nose?? Will have another look at/more pics today and update. VERY straight w/ biggest dents being on the nose/2 holes where a spare tire was hung, the clips for the emblem are still present. Haven't had a late Westy this straight and solid in a long time. Very, very little rust, the rust on front windshield appears to be all surface/see pics. Complete interior needs cleaning and 2 cabinet doors. Owner said engine has under 100 miles on her, timing was off and he left her sitting the past 5 years at his parents house where I picked it up. Automatic Transmission he said mechanically she was fine when he parked her 5 years ago except the timing was off which he didn't resolve?????? Paint appears to be all original all the way around, looks like the clear in some parts is flaking off. Has an AC as well, it came off/unscrewed while being cleaned.
An original 78 CALIFORNIA Westy this straight does not come around that often!
