I'm really struggling to find some 3mm ply to do my westy headlining, if I do manage to find some they can't garantee the quality, or they can but are located a million miles away.
Can anyone suggest somewhere in Kent/London? Does it have to be 5x5 sheets to do the headlining? And can only be 3mm?
Thanks , Brett.

Travis perkins or Arnold laver both do it!!

Been into 3 different travis Perkins and they only do 3.6mm which come in 8x4 sheets.
Never heard of arnoldlaver?

did you try Richard Russel in Beddington Lane?croydon I bought several 10X5 sheets for Mattp that he used for all his panels & a set for another bus, it was great quality/no waste

I've e mailed them with a request for a quote, tried ringing a few days back but didn't get through. Problem is not many will guarantee the quality, so I'd have to travel around checking the boards myself, which I don't have time to do.
I could divert to Richard Russell on my way home from work If they have quality boards.

I got my headlining from Rackhams if I remember!
Have you considered them?
They were fine and I didn't have to pfaff about with my old headlining. They fitted a treat too.

Bit pricey though for some ply I thought?

Yeah not the cheapest, I am all for the less hassle approach and I get them fitted in a couple of hours, then opened a beer! He he !

The website says national deliveries. The sheets i had were identical to what i replaced.

Hope that helps.

Carriage paid on. Over £200 it says? Is that paid by you if you spend over £200 or them if you pay over £200? Il give them a bell.

try , ipswich plastics.....google them as thats where i get my 3mm birch ply in 5 ft sheets from , the costs last time i bought some was around 14 a sheet or i can order some for you its just a matter of getting it to you

Ok, dug my paperwork out and I had 3 sheets of 2440mm x 1220mm x 4mm, 3 sheets of 1525mm x 1525mm x 3mm and 1 sheet of 1525mm x 1525mm x 9mm.

I had the extra sheets for some other stuff I was doing - floor, wall panels etc. Total cost was 149.29 inc VAT and delivery. The 3 sheets of 1525mm x 1525mm x 3mm were £10.39 each inc VAT. Delivery was £20.

They gave me a quote over the phone. FYI it was the Russian Birch Ply.

I used 4mm ply as thats all I could get in 5x5 sheets, the 3mm i used for the side panels in 8x4 sheets. All from Avon Plywood, the 4mm was tight but fitted no problem

There is a supplier in Essex just on the other side of the tunnel. I picked some up from there last year.

DHH Timber product Purfleet. 01708 864245
