I've just had a thought, what did you fellas use to cut the ply? I'm worried that a jigsaw might blast it to pieces?

either cut from the back or get some down cutting blades! leave the pencil line on and plane nice and straight!

Where did u get the ply from in the end and what was the cost per sheet??

3 sheets for £35 from a company on top of detling hill TS forests I think it's called, haven't picked it up yet as they don't open weekends, so I'm not sure of the quality just yet.
