Hi all,

I'm new to these forums and busses in general. Due to the state of my new bus this is a long way off, but I wanted to gauge some opinions.

I want a really good quality sound system in my bus. I currently own a head unit, a pair of 6" components which I'm probably gonna fit in the doors, and I have a pair of 6x9s which I know everybody slates in the world of ICE. I plan to fit a subwoofer of some sort, which I'll probably build into a buddy seat behind the passenger bulkhead. I eventually want to integrate a PS2 and flip down screen in the roof to use the same speakers, or maybe a PC of some sort so I can have itunes. I don't mind fitting soundproofing around the bus, but want to be able to fit the regular cooker/fridge/sink etc as it's going to be a practical camper as well as a 70s disco boom bus!

I want a system that is going to sound good;
a) when I'm driving
b) in the living area
c) for rear passengers.

I don't mind experimenting with fibreglass enclosures etc, I just wanted to know what people have in their busses, what works and what doesn't.

Cheers,

John
