In the middle of my build and the vans going to the body shop first thing is the morning! With hours and hours of thought I've decided I want rid of my pop top! I want a sunroof! With funds starting to drop as you all can imagine I want a temporary fixed plexy glass sunroof! Has anybody done this? What's the price, where do i go? ... help would be grateful

It's your bus, but I wouldn't do it.
A previous owner had fixed a plexiglass sheet in place of the Dormobile roof on my bus, sagged and filled with water/snow in the winter, and sagged and was baking hot in the summer.

I agree with SW. I saw one years ago. It leaked, sagged and baked.
I would keep the pop top - can't beat them for camping. Either that or go for a Paris sunroof - they work perfectly, don't leak and can be opened in hot weather (whatever that is :? )

My opinion but I think sunroofs are over rated on any car. We have one on the daily but never use it !
We love our pop top there's no better feeling than arriving at the campsite / stop and putting the top up. To me it's the equivalent of pitching a tent except it only takes a second ;-)

Sunroof busses are like belly buttons
Keep the Poptop, at least you can stand up in yours.

It would only be temporary literally 3-4 months even if that' just so I can save some money for a proper sunroof! Saves getting my pop top painted and wasting money on it!

The cost for spraying the van is usually in the prep time and not for the paint or painting itself. Keep the pop top and just put a 'temporary' white top coat over it - no prep!
I had a Paris sunroof fitted this year and it's excellent but a touch pricey!
