Tank breather

Can I just run a hose from the tank breather port to somewhere up one of the rear vents?

Or will a small hole in the centre of the petrol cap do?

why would you not just go with regular set up?

Mine didn't come with any of the original kit

My tank has one breather outlet.

Well it would be pretty simple to fabricate if you can't get hold of one (fbi?), maybe use some 8mm copper pipe which is pretty pliable. here's a few pics of mine at each end, the curly silver pipe atop the tank, hope that helps.. it connects via rubber sleeves each end and exits inside the fuel flap next to the filler neck.
