20year ago a good splitty was £3.5k, a good bay around £2.2k and a good beetle around £7k -how things have changed
Parts supply now is very good but prices (even in just the last year) have gone up a fair amount (I've seen 30% in a year). The busses are over-priced but I think this is affected by supply, restoration cost and parts cost. A bus is unlikley to be work resto and costs BUT it ought to be worth something in comparrison to the money poured into it.
There are also the new 'must have for the scene' members that do have the dollar and spend cash quickly.
The bottom hasn't fallen out but some busses are still overpriced IMHO -the £22k late bay in the walkway up to the entrance of Dubfreeze seemed a little high
