Cheers fella. Yeah I've been lucky to have some good friends in Brighton who have helped keep the bus on the road over the last few years!

I try to get to Europe as much as possible, as the shows over there are awesome, and to be honest its quicker to get over there than it is to drive to Devon / Cornwall.

2010 and another trip to Spa with the earlybay crew...

then after we went to Bitburg, Metz, Verdun, Reims, Epernay..

2011 and its time to freshen up the bus, so a change in wheels was in order...

Enkei 5 spokes were always one of my original wheel choices

though fitting the rear wheel didn't go so well due to the hub being different on the drivers side, resulting in nearly losing a wheel at 60mph on the M25 on the way back from Ninove

Fortunately the wheel stayed in the arch, so other than lots of tyre smoke, a ruined tyre, brown trousers and some scorched paint we were both ok!

Thanks for the nice comments and photos!
Its a bus thats been developing over the last few years as funds allow, or when work needs doing to it.
It might not seem it from this thread so far, but this bus has had loads of work, parts and improvements over the last few years. I'll get round to writing it all down and get photos posted as soon as I can!

After running some ropey stereo set-ups over the years, I decided to fabricate a Westfalia speaker box.

I designed this on CAD so that all the box volumes are correct for the size of speakers...

Trial fit...

Made from 20mm MDF, then clad with a scrap Westy wardrobe. I used the correct 'T' shape edging from Chewie on the SSVC...

And the final install...

I am running two JL audio amps mounted in the slot behind the buddy seat, with 0AWG wiring. A pair of JL Audio component speakers in the front kick panels. Using a 5 year old Sony head unit at the moment but will upgrade that soon. Sounds dope though...
