Hi all - just thought i'd show you a few photos of our new plaything. The Sick Bay is a 1972 Maltese Red Cross Ambulance that has been off the road since 1988. Don't really have any before shots but here's a few of the work in progress..............

should be welded and MOT'd by the end of the week - hopefully have it all ready for the Cornwall Jamboree

will get some better pics as soon as I can

narrowed beam and NSU's... this is going to look very tough 8)

nice looking livery 8) , i heard you can actually legally use the sirens if they havent been previously removed :twisted:
 
what thickness adaptors r u using on your wheels and whay

The adapters are 25mm thick - Got them from Machine7.
Front tyres 165/60/14
Rears 185/65/14

Passed it's MOT today - now we can nudge the front down some more.........
 
that looks tight! 8)

..i love it and the wheels too 8) , detailed in black would look even tighter :wink:
 
Looks cool .. :) I have an ambulance too ... not as cool as yours as mine is not slammed. Looking at how yours looks really makes me want to lower my ambulance ..

imagine my suprise when my next door neighbour( ok this is cornwall and my neighbour lives 1/4 mile away) starts making siren noises.....oooi ooi that sounds familiar so i walks up the road and what do i see on his driveway... :mrgreen:
