Late bay owner asking for help :? I know, I know
Has anyone used these guys? Got to have a new lump, been through the custom build by a quality builder thought process, simply can't afford it. Looked at TES, VEGE and VW heritage....all have positives and negatives but all require fitting. Our VW guy won't touch any of these any more as has had too many warranty issues where he loses out.
These guys offering fitting in with the price, it's affordable. We don't do loads of miles....pretty much summer only.
Anyone got first hand experience?

I used them and have been running nearly 18 months without any issues.

I bought the 1641 twin port and had the turn key service. Couldn't afford to get a brand new engine so this was my next option. Turn around of only a week which was brilliant and delivered too.

Very helpful too.

Nice! Love how quirky those are! Saw a lovely Mk3 cortina today too, could be tempted though I've never had a ford, mostly BL stuff myself before I got my VW!


Back OT, I have absolutely no doubt that VW Heritage do a fantastic job and I have had excellent support for parts etc from them.

However I also got my engine from VW Engine Co in March - rebuild and turn-key service including supplying some missing tinware - and was also very pleased - though I've only ever driven my bus up and down the drive! (Slightly uprated 1641 SP/ TC setup).
