Well, the XXB has run out only to be replaced by another Batemans brew.
We now have 'Vintage Ale' at a mere 7.5% abv. Very palatable, just ordered the second pint and it only half six, plenty of drinking time left. :)

Sh*t Pete, Hope your feeling ok in the morning m8 ;) ;)

Thank for the thought Matt, but no, feeling as rough as a hairy bears wossname. Think the 5th pint clinched the deal in that I have no recollection of anything after that untill falling out of bed half an hour ago.
Judging by the evidence in the kitchen, it would appear I cooked sausage, egg and chips when I got home and can only presume I ate it as a thorough check of all cuboards/drawers etc has revealed no sign of it anywhere. Can only assume the same fate became of the previously full, now empty bottle of Shiraz.
Mixing the grain and the grape, no wonder my head hurts......

Oh dear that's a two day hangover that one Pete! The only thing that helps me is dyralite sachets which rehydrate you mixed in with a soluble Resolve sachet
