Seeing as I'm going to be asking lots of questions I thought I best introduce myself properly!
I'm Michael and I live on the Notts / Derby boarder, I had my first beetle when I was 17 and had them ever since (28 now!).
Heres a few photos of my last few dubs...
56 CKD Oval, full history, 99K miles, never welded, etc... had to sell due to house sale...which then fell through! :shock:
from one extreme to the other!...
71 1200, 6" beam, no shocks :shock: :roll:
and my daily...wife has a newbie cab 8)
I loved the 71 but it had to go due to having a baby girl just before Christmas and didn't want to taker her in a car that low! :|
So I bought a camper instead!
Its a 71 Westy, since I've had it I've fitted a recplacement 1600 with qp exhaust, replaced the New Mini front seats with orignal ones, new buddy seat and currently on the look out for a pair of overriders for the rear. Also just bought a full set of deluxe trim which I think I'm going to fit!
