Throttle cable help

Hopeing to fit my engine very soon ,I have a small metal conduit that goes through the fan housing I believe but when I took the bus apart I remember a long plastic sleeve ???? Has any one got a pic of how it should be please

No photo but a 'top tip' put a clip on the back so the blighter doesn't move with the cable.....

So the cable comes straight out the metal conduit under the bus through the small bit in the fan housing onto the carb

it runs through a conduit, iirc use a beetle one and cut it down

Mines got a jubilee on the back too, makes life so much easier when putting the engine in and out :mrgreen:

I have a cable tie jubilee clip was far too posh for me :lol:

I have also cable tied on 6 inch of hose it just makes poking the throttle cable in a but easier.
