throttle linkage

Fitted new throttle linkage today from jk but only seem to be getting half to three quarter power
peddle is going down to the floor but seems on the arm can go more any suggestions are welcome
are these linkages ok from jk?

Did you attach the cable with the pedal held on the floor?

When I reconnect my carb I put a brick on the pedal and attach the cable with the throttle near to fully open (linkage 1mm off carb body)
