So figured I'd go through the fresh air vents the other day,
Dirty, notice the finger spot I cleared.

Found some real fine particulate.

And done and dusted.

And since I was there and all I started looking into the actual vents as well.

They were well worn, so I figured time to refresh the o.e. foam, and fit an alternitive.
Starting out

Strip down- and clean the old cement up

Cut a pattern (or 2)

Hot Glued and cleaned, finished.

Also to make this more of a discussion, have you ever looked over/cleaned your fresh air venting/vents? Ever find anything interesting?

And a side note for those show-doers/goers, this emblem came off of a 1997 Junker Jetta (sure any 90's Jetta will have one and if it is going to the scrapper grab a couple emblems, right?! Why not this wont have the functionality but it will still function as a air vent- you just can’t direct air or control the flow through the vents.

Those emblems also are just shy of fitting perfectly into Empi BRM Replica’s For those who really want more to show.
