Anyone recommend a good not to expensive and simple to use timing light for a novice like me. Loads on the market just would like to get a tried and tested one.

I use a sealey digital and its spot on although I've had it a while so not sure how much they are now. I like a digital so I can dial in the advance which is useful for 009's.

It also has a tach setting and can be used for measuring dwell when setting points.

I just use a £15 one off eBay sure it was a Accuspark or somthing it's basic but does the job :)

Accuspark sp8000 for me , advance setting and rev counter built in, makes life easier when using it
